In Turin over 1500 scientists and doctors for the EACR 2020 Congress, the European Association for Cancer Research


Turin will host the 26th Congress of the European Association for Cancer Research in 2020. The Association founded in 1968 today has over 10,000 members working and studying in the field of cancer research. The event will take place from 17 to 20 June 2020 and will attract scientists, oncologists, biotech and pharma partners from all over the world.
After hosting the ESTRO - European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology Congress in 2016 - with 6,000 participants, Turin is now preparing for another exciting international event that will discuss breakthrough discoveries in the field of cancer research and their applications in oncology.
The bid was presented by Alberto Bardelli, Professor of the Department of Oncology of the University of Turin and Director of Molecular Oncology at the Institute of Candiolo, which was recently nominated EACR President, with the support of Turismo Torino and Provincia Convention Bureau. Turismo Torino e Provincia Convention Bureau was at the RAI Conference and Exhibition Center in Amsterdam, which hosted the 25th edition of EACR Congress, to promote the Turin 2020 edition.
