Lingotto Fiere is part of the French group GL events, a publicly traded company on the Paris Stock Exchange and a leading international name in the organisation of events, the management of expo hubs and the provision of services. Lingotto Fiere is a modern, functional location offering a flexible exhibition space: the perfect place not just for trade fairs, but also for national and international conferences, conventions and events of various types. The exhibition centre extends across an indoor surface area of about 65,000sqm, split across 3 interlinked, single-storey pavilions and the adjacent Oval, the facility built to host Torino 2006 Olympic speed skating competitions, the management of which was transferred to Lingotto Fiere on July 2009. Inside the Pavilions, a plenary hall can be set up with a total capacity of 7000 people; in the immediate vicinity there are 3 four-star hotels, a shopping centre, the underground Lingotto station and 3,300 car parking spaces.
