Success for Torino at the Annual Convention of Federcongressi&Eventi in Rome from 23 to 24 February. During the gala dinner, where the FCE Awards were presented, Torino was awarded in the Creativity category with the project “Torino, Nitto ATP Finals 12-19 November, 2023, as a big sports event becomes the perfect occasion to promote a destination”. The project showcased all the actions and tools developed and implemented by the local institutions, coordinated by Turismo Torino e Provincia, to highlight the tourism, cultural, and food and wine excellences of the area. The results? More than 8,000 attendees (+80% compared to 2022) at the scheduled events (200 events, 50 talks with 150 guest speakers, and 63 tastings involving 70 local companies) and more than 3 million interactions on social media (80,000 users, +94% compared to the 2022 edition).
The award was given to Turismo Torino e Provincia Convention Bureau, a member of Federcongressi&eventi, the association of the Italian meeting industry, which this year has celebrated twenty years since its foundation.
