TORINO WON 10 IMPORTANT CONGRESSES

The year is not over yet, but Turismo Torino e Provincia Convention Bureau has already won 10 associative congresses for a total of 6,000 participants and almost 29,000 attendees, generating an estimated economic impact on the territory of more than EUR 5 million. This is the result of bids developed sometimes with local PCOs and in collaboration with the University of Torino, obtained thanks to the economic incentives of the “Torino per i tuoi eventi” package, the promotional initiative in collaboration with the Chamber of commerce of Torino.

These are the 2025 events that have been confirmed: the 30th National Congress of FADOI, the Federation of Associations of Hospital Internist Directors, from 24 to 26 May with 1,200 participants; ENCALS Meeting, the International Neuroscience Congress, bringing together the main European centres dealing with ALS, from 3 to 6 June with 800 participants; SIE from 11 to 14 June, the National Congress of the Italian Society of Endocrinology with 1,200 participants; the third edition of the World Summit on Accessible Tourism in October, organized by Cpd (Consulta per le persone in difficoltà) and promoted by Destinations for All, an organisation that aims to promote accessible tourism around the world, 400 participants expected; HVDC 25, the international technical-scientific congress in the field of insulated power cables, from 20 to 22 October, with 400 participants.

Among the events confirmed for 2026 are the 45th International Symposium on Archaeometry (ISA), the most important congress of the global archaeometry community from 18 to 22 May with 400 participants, won in cooperation with the Egyptian Museum; SOSORT - International Conference on Conservative Management of Spinal Deformities from 20 to 23 May with 400 participants;  IFW - International Insects to Feed the World Conference, an international conference that will attract about 600 researchers and professionals from all over the world to exchange ideas the latest advancements in the field of insects for feed and food.
